Antoinette D. Hayes-Triplett, MA Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Antoinette D. Hayes-Triplett joined the Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative (THHI) as the Chief Executive Officer and chairperson of the Tampa/Hillsborough County Continuum of Care (CoC) in August 2014.
The Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative (THHI) is designated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the State of Florida as the lead entity on the issue of homelessness in Hillsborough County. The CoC, led by THHI, is a collaboration of federal, state and local government agencies, faith-based organizations, housing providers, non-profit agencies and businesses working together to develop strategies to make homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring in Hillsborough County.
During Antoinette’s tenure at THHI, the community has experienced:
6% reduction in the total homelessness. 42% reduction in homelessness among veterans. 19% reduction among persons experiencing chronic homelessness.
Antoinette developed Operation: REVEILLE as a housing initiative with the goal of ending homelessness among military veterans by rapidly re-housing and developing a system of care to ensure that a veteran never sleeps on the streets. Operation: REVEILLE has been replicated in seven states across the country.
Previously, Antoinette served as a City Planning Executive in the City of St. Louis for 13 years. Under her leadership, the City of St. Louis received over $130 million in competitive funds and implemented over 30 new programs focusing on removing barriers, developing collaborations and providing exceptional housing and services for those experiencing homelessness.
